Aurora resident Taylor Willis has joined Thomas Realty & Auction Co., LLC as a licensed real estate agent, effective April 1, after passing her state and national tests.
Taylor grew up in northwest Kansas and moved to Nebraska to attend the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She graduated with a degree in hospitality management and moved to Aurora with her husband, Andrew Willis. They have two children, Austyn 6 and Ledger 4.
Shortly after moving to Aurora, Taylor began working for Pinnacle Bank. In 2019 she left the bank to go to work with her husband in his growing agricultural business, Diamond J. Custom Services, LLC, where she works as office manager. They later began exploring opportunities in real estate and purchased their first Airbnb. They currently manage four in Aurora.
Taylor has participated and co-chaired the Hamilton County Leadership Tomorrow Class, served as an ambassador for the Hamilton County Chamber of Commerce and was awarded the “2020 Rising Star” from the Hamilton County Chamber of Commerce. She currently is a board member for the Plainsmen Museum as well as the president of the Board of Directors for the Aurora Country Club. She has created and hosted an annual event, the Daddy/Daughter Dance for the community the past three years. She and her family are members of the Westside Covenant Church in Aurora.
